on 23 May 2016 Richard Jennings said I am 73 these days but as a child vividly remember the yelton hotel and Notley family.the principles were I believe called Eccles and the formidable mother in law lived in a self contained basement flat next to the ballroom. The hotel had charming art deco features in the lobby. I remember a large mirror with an integral click in reception. unfortunately the only remaining feature is the original revolving door.Cyril Fletcher and Betty Astel who played the summer season fol de rols at the White Rock theatre would stay in the hotel
