on 04 Jul 2012 Alan Jenner said On the right is Greenleaf Terrace, it consisted of mainly flats for general labourers with Families, it was my first home When I was 10 months[ 1947 ] old, next to Jones wet Fish & Chip shop in centre of buildings as can be seen in line with the Tram -
on 20 Oct 2012 Jane Fennell said My husband's grandfather Percy Crouch had a grocers at 253 Battle Road but we can't find anything about it, I do have a photo back in the 50's or earlier but it's in another place right now packed up. Anything or anybody knew the Crouch family pleas let me know.

on 10 Aug 2018 Rosemarie Savage said I've been looking for 22 Battle Road where my Grandfather (Joe Ripley) and Nan (Emily Ripley, nee Cooper) lived. Believe Nan's Mum had a second hand shop somewhere in Hollington (Mary Cooper (Obie (Obed) Cooper)).
I'd be interested if anyone can remember them. -
