on 23 Apr 2018 John Thorpe said My old boozing ground. I had 15 pints of Fremlins County Ale paid for by my mates in a drinking competition and staggered home supported by the same fellows up the side passages past the reputed house of C/S,Foyle to my home up at Halton. I never did it again at home. A respected friend saw me and later in the week told me I should have been ashamed of myself. 60 years ago and I have not forgotten. -
